Alexis Sanchez looks distracted at Arsenal, says Gary Neville

According to The Mirror's John Cross, Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is a keen admirer of Sterling and "an approach for him could yet hold the key to Alexis Sanchez's future".

According to The Sun, Jose Mourinho is eyeing a highly controversial hijack of Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez.

City would like to land Sanchez in the New Year transfer window, but if Arsenal won't do business they will happily take him for free in the summer. With reports iterating the rejection of multiple contract offers from the Gunners, there was speculation linking the player with a move to Manchester City - a reunion with Pep Guardiola that would cost the Citizens around £50 million.

The former Red Devils defender told Sky Sports News: "I've not seen the Alexis Sanchez news, so you have given me something I haven't heard before, but, from that point of view, United, from a general perspective, should always be challenging for the best players in the world and bringing them in".

There's also rumours that HTC is manufacturing the smaller version of the Pixel 2, with the XL version being made by LG. HTC will continue to developing the next flagship smartphone, following the launch of the HTC U11 earlier this year.

But with Arsenal unable to sign a replacement quickly enough, the move collapsed.

The Chilean, whose Arsenal contract expires at the end of the current season, was repeatedly linked with a move to Manchester City this summer amid reports he was eager to leave the Emirates.

It will no doubt continue to be a transfer saga webbed in rivalry and politics as the Premier League rivals both fight to land their targets in the best deal possible. But an agreement could be put in place for the deal to go through.

Many at City were surprised boss Pep Guardiola went for Sanchez in the summer, given that would mean dropping one of Sergio Aguero or Gabriel Jesus. Even if he does want to pursue, United can challenge City financially and otherwise for Sanchez.
