According to Dailymail report, out of the total issues, 53 percent experienced total blackout with the site, while 37 percent faced issues while logging in.

Down Detector - a website dedicated to detecting online issues - said that issues affecting users have been reported worldwide. On an Android device you'll need to tap the recent apps icon, which is usually the square at the bottom of the screen found on either the left or right of the Home button, then swipe away the Facebook app to close it.

Users in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, and even Australia have posted complaints on Twitter about being unable to access Facebook's desktop site.

ZNet also said that a hard refresh, which clears the cache for a webpage, appeared to be working for some users.
