Scaramucci: Trump 'needed to be much harsher' on white supremacists

During ABC News' livestream interview after This Week, Scaramucci was asked if he believes Bannon is a white supremacist or white nationalist.

"I think he needed to be much harsher as it related to the white supremacists and the nature of that", Scaramucci said during an interview Sunday on ABC's "This Week".

When asked by Stephanopoulos if that influence stemmed from Bannon, Scaramucci said, "I think the president knows what he's going to do with Steve Bannon".

Scaramucci decried what he called the "Bannon-Bart" influence at the White House, labelling it "nonsense".

One such example includes Bannon's extensive cooperation with Josh Green a reporter for Bloomberg Businessweek as he wrote his book titled Devil's Bargain. The cover showed Bannon sharing equal billing with Trump

The Shine snub comes after the Washington Examiner reported on Thursday that White House officials have reached out to a bevy potential replacements, but no one is willing to take a positions that seems doomed for failure, given Trump's obsession with communications and his short fuse. It's his decision, but at the end of the day, the president has a very good idea of who the leakers are inside the White House. "Whether it's domestic or worldwide terrorism, with the moral authority of the presidency, you have to call that stuff out".

Scaramucci appeared to link Trump's response to White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, who was formerly executive chairman of the right-wing Breitbart website. Not only did the channel help launch Trump's political career by giving him a constant platform to push his birther allegations under President Barack Obama, but Fox News today functions as his most important media ally and works diligently to obediently spin his messaging. "Am I that guy?'" Ana Winner, a contributor at Foreign Policy who broke the story, told CNN's "The Lead with Jake Tapper".

"The whole thing is nonsensical", Scaramucci said. "I think he's also of the impression that there's hatred on all sides, but I disagree with it", he said. It's not serving the president's interests.
