Dutchman Haase tops Schwartzman to reach Rogers Cup semifinals

Canadian teenage tennis sensation Denis Shapovalov continued his dream run in the Rogers Cup in Montreal as he overcame Adrian Mannarino of France 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the quarter-finals Friday night. He leapt in the air as he closed out the match. Zverev advances to face the second-seeded and World No. 3 Roger Feder on Sunday. The 36-year-old Swiss will next face unseeded Dutchman Robin Haase, a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 victor over Diego Schwartzman of Argentina.

The 36-year-old Swiss won 6-4 6-4 in 68 minutes to set up a meeting with unseeded Dutchman Robin Haase.

In Toronto, World No. 1 Pliskova advanced to the quarterfinals of the WTA Toronto hardcourt tournament while a pair of high seeds Venus Williams and Angelique Kerber crashed out in straight sets.

Federer said he knows Haase well from serving with him on the ATP player council and from practicing together.

Shapovalov double-faulted as he crumbled for the first time, handing Zverev a 5-4 lead, and the German served out the set.

"My game plan worked better against Bautista Agut than against Ferrer", he said.

Navios Maritime Midstream Partn (NAP) Reached a New 52-Week High
Navios Maritime Midstream Partners has a 12 month low of $8.72 and a 12 month high of $12.70. As of quarter end Sei Investments Co had disposed of 931 shares trimming its position 43.7%.

And in yet another moment when it would have been easy to wonder if the 18-year-old Shapovalov would finally break, he proved he was only still bending, coming up with his first break of the match and then holding serve to claim a 2-1 advantage, looking all the more confident doing so.

Shapovalov's win came less than 24 hours after a historic upset of first seeded Rafael Nadal.

The 30-year-old Haase, ranked 52nd in the world, improved to 5-0 against 36th-ranked Schwartzman in his career.

"We didn't get a chance to play, I was a little bummed out because I thought Rafa was going to watch me play before his match", he said with a laugh.

"I didn't, but I managed to win because I kept fighting".
