Destiny 2: Changes Coming to PC Beta Following Console Testing

This was a big change that came directly from your feedback during the console beta.

PC players will be able to get their hands on the Destiny 2 beta on August 28, not too long before the game is fully released, but Crucible Design Lead Lars Bakken laid out some of the ways that the beta will change between now and PC's date. There's good reason for this, because matchmaking will take more time to "introduce you to players that are closer to you in skill with a good connection". Starting off, the matchmaking systems used in the Quickplay and Competitive playlists will be tuned individually.

Bakken stated that both Quickplay and Competitive matchmaking modes will receive separate updates. Bungie have stated as much in the official announcement post on, where the developer warned players that the PC specs for the beta might not necessarily be the same for the full game. For example, in Quickplay, the Control game type has had the winning score increased from 75 to 100.

Bungie has also revealed that while the overlay functionalities of hardware performance monitors will not be compatible with the game, they will still be able to function in the background.

Infinite Supers are all well and good until someone loses an eye.

Another issue found with the help of our friends in the console Beta.

Moving on, Bungie's fixed the Warlock glide glitch ("this bug was awesome it hurt us a little bit to kill it"), and the infinite grenades glitch. They've also fixed the Infinite Grenades Glitch, as well as the problem with the Warlocks' Melee Range. "We agree it was taking a bit too long to cook up a Super".

North Korea Threat Will Be Great For Guam's Tourism Industry
But Guam's governor said Thursday he supported Trump's stern warning to North Korea, saying "I want a president that says that". The president called the United States military "incredible, "rock solid" and "the best in the world by a factor of five".

Destiny 2 will squash a number of bugs and glitches as well as make some changes to the game's weapons and abilities for the PC beta debuting later this month. "Our PC friends will get a chance to experience a world with consistent base melee ranges", Hamrick said.

Going forward, Destiny 2, which was recently featured as part of IGN First, will feature two alternate modes of matchmaking, Quickplay and Competitive.

The PC beta, however, will not be exactly the same as the one that players on consoles experienced, as Bungie applied several changes to improve the experience.

TWEAKED: Increased Power Ammo drops in PvE This is something we had felt internally and have been slowly tuning up over the last several weeks.

The Destiny 2 PC beta will begin on August 28 for those that pre-ordered the game, while everyone else will have to wait a day for the Destiny 2 PC Open beta on August 29. Power ammo can also be directly farmed from all Yellow Bar Combatants.

Destiny 2 launches on PC on October 24th.
