The protesters had placards with various inscriptions such as "Buhari, Osinbajo: We Are Fully with You", "Our President Is Recuperating", "God Has Healed Nigeria, Glory Be To God", "Nigerians Are United For President Buhari" and "Nigerians Endorsed Buhari Anti Corruption War".

However, the anti-Buhari protesters were conspicuously missing at the Unity Fountain where they had initially gathered since Monday.

"Resume or resign, Nigerians say enough is enough", one said, with others stating: "If president Buhari can not return to Nigeria after 90 days, then he should resign and go home", and "Buhari, where are you?"

The group also said there was no provision in the constitution which stated how long the president will stay out of office while seeking medical attention. He added that there was no vacuum in the governance of Nigeria, denouncing those calling for Mr. Buhari's resignation as agents of darkness.
