Butte's July jobless rate up

Youth unemployment peaked in years 2009, 2010, and 2011, when unemployment rates in July hit 18.5 percent, 19.1 percent, and 18.1 percent respectively.

The Washington metropolitan area added 83,100 jobs in the one-year period ending in July - the strongest showing in more than a decade - even as unemployment increased in the District of Columbia proper, according to data reported Friday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. "The commonwealth's rate remained above that of the United States, which was down one-tenth of a percentage point from June to 4.3 percent".

ADWS says Arkansas' civilian labor force added 9,168, a result of 9,058 additional employed and 110 more unemployed Arkansans. Over the year, education and health services gained 21,900 (+2.8 percent) jobs.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates MA has added 45,200 jobs between July 2016 and July 2017.

In July there were 25,380 people in the labor work force in the county.

The rate was 6.5 percent, up from 6 percent in June.

Jose set to abandon plans for wide man
United have spent a combined £149m bringing in Victor Lindelof , Nemanja Matic , and Romelu Lukaku . The Red Devils had a busy summer as they added Lukaku to help ease the loss of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

"If there are more jobs and fewer people looking, that will pull the [unemployment] number down", Weaver said.

The Northern Rural Training and Employment Consortium region of the north state, which includes Butte, Del Norte, Lassen, Nevada, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Tehama and Trinity counties, increased its unemployment rate by 0.4 percent to 6.2 percent for those counties combined. Connecticut, Maine, and Rhode Island still have not recovered all the jobs they lost. Jobs in trade, transportation, and utilities increased 5,400.

The estimates from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show MA lost 200 jobs in July. The leisure and hospitality sector added 7,100 jobs from July to July.

Private industries with the most growth year over year were professional and business services, up 5,026 and leisure and hospitality, up 4,365.

The rate's gradual change suggests Alaska's economy is responding slowly to the decline in both oil prices and production, and the related challenges for state government.
