In the long-awaited sequel, Blade Runner 2049, Deckard will resurface after three decades on the run.

"You're a cop", Ford questions his successor, adding, "I had your job once". Thereafter, Gosling asks, "What happened?" while Ford responds, "We were being hunted!" Nothing I've seen so far has me expecting anything short of a great movie from Blade Runner 2049, and the balancing act of recreating the feel of a 30-year-old movie while keeping it modern looks fantastic. Warner Bros. has released the third trailer for Denis Villeneuve's Blade Runner 2049 online now (see the video above), ahead of Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk (which it will likely play in front of this weekend) as well as the studio's upcoming Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend. Still, given just how much people adore the original film, the filmmaker has already made his peace with potentially failing.

The second trailer for Blade Runner 2049 has arrived, and it shows us more of the first meeting between Deckard and Ryan Gosling's LAPD Officer K. Despite their initial conflict, Deckard drops a very intriguing piece of information: "I covered my tracks, scrambled the records..." K's discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
