Star Wars: The Last Jedi to offer 'catharsis' for Carrie Fisher fans

No Star Wars film can do without at least a certain amount of CGI.

"Star Wars" fans may soon know what it's like to wield a lightsaber, thanks to a new augmented-reality game. The video shows how the practical effects and CGI effects are going to be combined for the film. The saga has also spawned some pretty nifty villains spearheaded by the most menacing one of them all, Darth Vader.

And the 43-year-old filmmaker says Carrie's performance in the movie is "really beautiful", and despite the scenes not being filmed in the knowledge they would be her last, there are still moments within the feature that will "mean a lot to people". Accompanying it was a new poster for "The Last Jedi", depicting Fisher - "The General" - looking powerful and perfectly accessorized. From Kylo's Dark Side chic, to Poe's Resistance insignia, to Leia's regal garb, to Finn's, well, Poe jacket - everyone except Rey, who's gone full Jedi robe!
