'Final Fight' boss Abigail to join 'Street Fighter V' roster

'Final Fight' boss Abigail to join 'Street Fighter V' roster

EVO 2017 has produced a stack of news of interest to fighter fans, including two confusingly similar announcements for Street Fighter 5 and Tekken 7.

Lore wise, Abigail is a Canadian who runs a scrap metal yard in the Metro City Bay Area, but he's also a member of the Mad Gear Gang, the criminal gang from Final Fight.

Street Fighter V is a touch disappointing, especially when compared to previous games in the series, so why not remind yourself of those earlier, happier days? His arrival in Street Fighter V on July 25 will mark the first time that he appears in the franchise.

Street Fighter 5 is going to be bombarded with DLC on July 25. On top of that, players will also be getting a few more retro costumes and the Sazaku Castle stage.

IAAF Diamond League: Okagbare Places Fourth In Rabat
Toronto's Shawn Barber, who won his event at the nationals, finished fourth in the pole vault competition as he cleared 5.60m. Jamaica's Kimberley Williams and Tajay Gayle will be participating in the women's triple jump and men's long, respectively.

Alex will receive a costume that resembles his look in Street Fighter III, with longer hair and green trousers.

Capcom France has shared an image on Twitter of what appears to be the next stage to be added in the game.

Meanwhile, alongside the release of Abigail is a brand new stage set in Metro City from Final Fight.

Street Fighter V is available for PlayStation 4 and PC. He can either be purchased with in-game fight money, or bought as part of the game's second season character pass. Will Abigail be a good inclusion to the game?
