BlazBlue Crosstag Battle combines BlazBlue, Persona 4 Arena, and RWBY

Cross Tag Battle will feature the work of Arc System Works' up-and-coming illustrator Konomi Higuchi, who will serve as the game's lead character designer.

The title's called BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, and its debut trailer was just shown during Evo 2017.

The company is working on a new BlazBlue game.

The game is a massive crossover between BlazBlue: CentralFiction itself, Persona 4: Arena, French Bread's Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late [st], and Monty Oum's RWBY. Joining the BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle roster, which includes BlazBlue's Ragna the Bloodedge and Jin Kisaragi, are Yu Narukami from Persona 4 Arena, Hyde from Under Night In-Birth, and Ruby Rose from RWBY. It's set to release in 2018, and we've got even more information (and a trailer) on its news post. RWBY is an American anime produced by Rooster Teeth.

The saga has also spawned some pretty nifty villains spearheaded by the most menacing one of them all, Darth Vader. The video shows how the practical effects and CGI effects are going to be combined for the film.

While Jubei has appeared in every BlazBlue game as a non-playable character, this will be the first time the character is made playable.

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is now targeting a 2018 launch date.

It is now unclear if Ruby Rose will be joined in BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle by other RWBY characters, which is the same question for Persona 4: Arena and Under Night In-Birth characters.
