Arsenal Take On Sydney FC Tonight In Sydney

New signing Alexandre Lacazette took only 15 minutes to score on his first outing in an Arsenal shirt as he helped to complete a 2-0 friendly victory over Sydney FC.

Per Mertesacker had earlier found a way through against the reigning A-League champions, though it took until seven minutes from time to kill the game off thanks to Lacazette's poacher instincts. The lively 17-year-old Reiss Nelson was a handful on the right flank while fellow young debutant Joe Willock slalomed through Sydney's defence.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was also delighted to see his new man get off the mark while also commending the team's general performance.

Gunners' record signing Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette showed his huge skills when he turned his marker and fired a shot at the keeper in the opening minutes.

Breton Hill holds 0.19% in International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) was bought by OWENS JAMES W. (NYSE:IBM). International Business Machines Corporation (IBM ) added 0.33% to reach $153.7 in the previous trading session.

Arsenal's highest ever pre-season attendance saw 80,432 supporters, many of whom were Gooners, witness Lacazette's debut goal after he was played in following an assist from Alex Iwobi.

The Gunners now prepare for their second Sydney match, a meeting with Western Sydney Wanderers in Sydney today. "It raised some opinions against and overall it was a hard moment but I was focused on my job", said Wenger, as quoted my Mirror.

"In some games we will play with four at the back and some with three, but at the start of the season we will certainly play with three". Hard to blame Martinez for that, as I'm not sure many people knew what was going on. Other notable players on the team include the captain, Alex Brosque, who scored 11 goals last season and Serbian forward, Milos Ninkovic, who scored nine goals last season.

Wenger has confirmed that Lemar is on his radar and it seems increasingly likely that the Frenchman will be an Arsenal player by the time the Gunners kick-off the new Premier League season against Leicester on August 11th.
