Tammy Abraham: Swansea set to battle Newcastle and Brighton for Chelsea striker

Scroll through the gallery above to see some of the clubs Tammy Abraham could potentially join during the summer transfer window.

'Paul has a fair bit of money to consider and there are one or two players we are looking to get signed.

Swansea boss Paul Clements knows Abraham well from his time at Chelsea, and the Welsh club's chairman Huw Jenkins admits they are keen on the exciting youngster.

The 32-year-old striker hit 15 goals for Swansea in the Premier League, and worked with Chelsea boss Antonio Conte at Juventus, but a loan switch to Stamford Bridge was rejected by the Swans, who needed the Spain global for their relegation battle at the time. One advantage that his side would have is the presence of Paul Clement, who worked with Abraham at Chelsea, as their manager.

Newly promoted duo Brighton and Newcastle have been lining up a move for the Chelsea starlet as they both look to bolster their attacking options but they now face competition from Hull.

Jenkins insists the Swans are determined to keep hold of Gylfi Sigurdsson, Fernando Llorente and Alfie Mawson despite interest in their top trio.

Warren Gatland declares Owen Farrell fit for first Test
We are creating chances, but we are getting in behind teams, too'. "So again we're still developing that, but it's coming good". Of course there is. "But it's all good fun and there were a lot of honest congratulations as well", he added.

"With Gylfi we know how he helps our team with his assists and goals, he is a dead-ball specialist and has caused a lot of problems for opponents and won a lot of headlines".

"We've had no direct contact from any club, it is pure speculation and we hope it remains so".

"But we think he's got a few years left with us to develop his career". But Gomis spent last season on loan at Marseille and is nearing a move to Galatasaray in Turkey.

"Gomis to Galatasaray is possible, we have been talking", Jenkins said.

The 31-year-old has one year left on the deal he signed in 2014. The main positions we are looking for [with the way that we play] is a central midfielder and a second striker.

"We need to make sure we freshen the squad up and the American investment has provided the club with financial stability, we are paying out for contracts bigger than ever before".
