Snake slithers from pickup truck driving on 114

Snake slithers from pickup truck driving on 114

Instead of heading back the way it came, the reptile began writhing in front of them, refusing to go easily.

On Monday afternoon, Zakary Wyatt and his boss Swade Moyers were driving near Lubbock in northwest Texas when they noticed a snake had slithered out from underneath the truck's hood onto the windshield. They were on Hwy 114 when a huge bull snake peeked its head from the hood of the truck.

"Get out of here snake!"

The snake somehow slithers all the way onto the hood of the truck and hangs on.

"Oh, my gosh, dude, that thing is long", one of them can be heard saying.

LAPD cadets arrested after stealing patrol cars, police say
Officer Irma Mota says it's unclear when or how the two police cars were taken, but officers spotted the vehicles about 9:30 p.m. Police also recovered a third police vehicle during the investigation, which Beck said may be connected to the cadets .

They pulled over, in hopes that it would get off the truck on its own.

"On the way home we had Swade's brother check under the hood of the truck for more critters, because there was no way we were going to do any of that", he said.

What's most remarkable is the snake, of course, has no hands or feet, but clings to the hood of the auto like Saran Wrap despite the fast speeds of the vehicle.

But they have no idea where they picked him up. "And I didn't have to get out of the truck", he said.
