Conte defends Moses' Wembley dive: 'He was tired'

Chelsea failed to add to their Premier League title with the FA Cup as they suffered a 2-1 loss to the Gunners at Wembley on Saturday.

"Our team had three centre backs out and he could have gone small but he went with the big fella and that is something I need to give him credit for because I haven't played a lot".

Conte heaped praise on his players for their dominance of the Premier League this season after a miserable 2015-16 campaign when Chelsea finished 10th.

"I'm especially proud of the way we won this season, in the semi-final we had to play against Man City here and in the final Chelsea here, you can not get tougher and we had two outstanding performances, this cup was won with special spirit and special attitude".

Yet, the Brazilian-born striker has struggled to settle in London and had a training ground bust-up with Chelsea boss Antonio Conte in January fuelling rumours he could be the latest star of European football to be snapped up by China's football boom.

Wright believes Arsenal should have singled out Wenger's eventual successor some time ago and now fears what the knock-on effect could be if the Frenchman does go at this point, with regards summer planning and transfer activity. "You can not be in this job (if you are not forgiving)". If you can not forgive, you can not trust.

"It has given a bit of momentum for the club and for the fans to go into next season full of hope and I hope we can have a better year next year".

Manchester Police hoped to resume normal intelligence ties with the U.S. soon but is now furious, the BBC reported on Thursday. The two world leaders will likely see each other at the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation meeting in Brussels on Thursday.

"This is a strong group of players and with some additions we can be even more successful".

"I'm happy for the manager", Ramsey said on the Wembley Stadium pitch. It's the board who has to decide who will lead the club in the future.

After a torrid run of form at the start of spring, Wenger opted to alter his tactics and set his side out with a three-man defence.

The Blues went on to lose the game 2-1 despite Diego Costa equalising after Moses' red card.

Despite concerns over his fitness, having only featured for 37 minutes over the course of the entire campaign, the German World Cup victor was a man-of-the-match contender. "It's what we all want and I know it's what our fans around the world demand". I accept that people don't agree with me.

Writing in his column in The Sun, Wright said: "I've got a nasty feeling Arsene Wenger will walk away from the Arsenal job today, leaving the club totally in the lurch. We have shown with that performance, it's a statement".
