The Xiaomi Redmi 4 price in India starts at Rs. 6,999 for the 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage variant. There's a 3GB RAM+32GB variant as well at Rs 8,999.

Customers will have to register on Amazon India in order to get alerts about the sale.

But that's not it as Amazon is offering a bunch of offers along with the smartphone.

An additional offer of 45GB of free data from Vodafone has also been mentioned by the company. This is valid for both prepaid and postpaid customers, who have an existing data pack of 1GB of more on their numbers. The device comes with a smaller battery than the Redmi 4 but is also priced lesser, at Rs 5,999.

Xiaomi is touting several features on the Redmi 4 smartphone.

In India, Xiaomi's newly inaugurated Mi Home will house products including - phones - like Redmi and Mi series, headphones, smart devices like - air purifiers, fitness bands and VR headsets, power banks and accessories like - selfie sticks.

Redmi 4 has 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz with the Adreno 505 GPU to support the graphics. It also offers 5MP f/2.2 aperture front camera features a built-in beautify mode.

The phone has a fingerprint scanner on the back, which can be used to unlock the device. Xiaomi has promised an Android Nougat build for this phone as well.

Redmi 4 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM.

Redmi 4, Redmi 4A, Redmi Note 4 contributed largely to the revenue. The Redmi 4 which was recently launched made its offline debut at the Mi Home Store.
