Chelsea star reveals why he gambled everything to return to Stamford Bridge

I was winning everything in Paris.

The 30-year-old was one of the surprise movers of the last summer transfer window, re-joining the Blues from PSG for a sum of £34m - £14m less than they sold him for two years prior.

The Blues have been celebrating a successful first season under new boss Conte following his arrival at the club last summer as they won the Premier League in his debut campaign in England.

Victory over Arsenal in Saturday's FA Cup final would see Chelsea join Manchester United and the Gunners as the only teams in English football to win a league and FA Cup double on more than one occasion. I went to Paris for two years and won all the titles in France.

The 30-year-old admitted that he took a risk and a cut in pay when he made a decision to leave PSG and join Antonio Conte's Chelsea side, but the move paid off in other ways as he helped the Blues claim the Premier League title. But I think David showed himself to be a great player.

"That's why it was a risk".

"I love the risk". If you never take risks in your life you never feel something new.

"Every day we are working hard and that's why we deserve it. But it's okay, God has given me a lot so I'm happy with this".

"I don't always like the easy life", Luiz said.

Tiger Woods arrested in Florida for DUI
A spokeswoman for Jupiter Police tells the station an officer pulled him over around 3 a.m. on Military Trail in Jupiter, Fla . Woods' Mercedes avoided being impounded after someone close to Woods came and picked up the vehicle.

In fact, Luiz describes re-signing for Chelseas as "the right decision" and revealed that it involved taking a pay cut from the lucrative package he enjoyed in Paris.

After two years in Paris, Luiz is a more mature performer on the field, leaving the criticisms of his positional discipline and concentration firmly in the past. Conte thinks that his critics have gone quiet and that Luiz has been important to his side's success.

And former Arsenal star Merson reckons that Chelsea's focus will be on winning the Champions League in Conte's second season in charge.

"Conte is a great person, a great character and he's passionate - he loves football".

"I try to improve myself as a person, as a brother, as a son and as a friend everyday".

Luiz has a FA Cup winners' medal, but he missed the 2012 final with a hamstring injury before returning as Chelsea lifted the European Cup.

'I don't want to miss this one, ' he added.

'He said to me: "You are the player I want in my team and to improve my team".
