The snaps of the upcoming flagship phablet seem to channel the Galaxy S8.
Samsung is working on a new Galaxy S8 Active model now codenamed Cruiser, Samsung-tracking site SamMobile is reporting, citing sources who claim to have knowledge of the company's plans.
The foldable feature, however, could appear on two separate devices mysteriously named Galaxy X and Galaxy X1, but at an unspecified time. Besides that, Samsung official website lists the pre-registrations for the Galaxy S8 series in India.
Samsung is aiming for a million orders of the Galaxy S8 to top the 400,000 Note 7 pre-orders a year ago. If you are planning to own one of them then be informed that you drop this thing hard enough on the floor and you are going to end up with a not so good looking device. The Galaxy S Active lineup of phones is generally inspired by the company's S-flagship device of the year, and is known for carrying a rugged body intended for outdoor use. Rumors suggest that Samsung might take pre-orders from major e-commerce sites from the same day itself.
Samsung has already said the English-version of its new voice-assistant "Bixby" will be missing from the devices sold in the US.
