Fresno suspect charged with earlier killing

Evacuated office workers stand by, with a deceased shooting victim down on the sidewalk Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in Fresno, Calif.

Police say Muhammad gave rare and unusual details about his movements and the killings over several hours of questioning following his arrest, even returning with officers to the crimes scenes and demonstrating his actions. Social media accounts linked to Muhammad expressed anti-white and anti-government sentiments, Police Chief Jerry Dyer said, and he has advocated creation of a separate country for all of the United States' non-white residents. The gun may have been picked up by someone else, Dyer said.

Dyer says this all began with a murder last Thursday night at a motel where he allegedly killed a security guard for unspecified "disrespect".

Now, police are saying the killings were completely random and the gunman wanted to kill "as many white people as possible".

During the rampage, Muhammad shot at a resident who he encountered in the neighborhood multiple times but missed, Dyer said Tuesday.

Zackary David Randalls, 34, of Clovis, was in a training program with PG&E when he was shot in the passenger seat of the truck and later died at a hospital.

"I'm just so, so, sorry we have to deal with all this.it's not fair.it's not fair to us at all", said Wagner. Friday morning, he watched police officers investigate the crime scene and by evening he was in a ravine, where he told police he conducted voodoo rituals for three days.

It was reported by BBC news that he shouted "God is greatest" in Arabic when arrested but this was a hate crime not terrorism, Mr Dyer believed.

He was deemed competent in August 2006 and pleaded guilty to the charges of cocaine possession with intent to distribute and a weapons charge.

UK Parliament votes in favour of early national election
Before holding the election, May must first win the support of two-thirds of the parliament in a vote on Wednesday (April 19). Despite Corbyn's bravado, his party is demoralized and divided under his left-wing leadership and is expected to fare badly.

Next, Muhammad shot toward a bus stop where he had spotted three white men, police said.

Williams was a hard-working security guard who earned the rank of supervisor at Monument Security.

Dyer says that without the gunshot detection system, Muhammad may have evaded arrest, leading to a tense manhunt and possibly more violence. They scattered, and the gunman picked an "older gentleman" who appeared to be heavier, David Jackson, and shot him twice. He has also been accused of making terrorist threats and been associated with gangs, but he was not a confirmed member, police said.

A day after police say Muhammad went on a shooting rampage in his city, Dyer says the suspect walked him through each murder - without showing a hint of remorse.

Prosecutors say Muhammad is expected to be charged with four counts of murder in the three killings Tuesday and in the slaying last week of a motel security guard.

On Tuesday morning, Muhammad had gone to buy items to practice voodoo rituals when he went to Starbucks instead, Dyer said.

"I unfriended him about two years ago on Facebook", Jojo Romelo, who met Muhammad in 2014 at a nonprofit public access TV studio in downtown, told NBC station KSEE.

Muhammad then ran from the parking lot, wrapped his gun in clothing and set it on the ground.

He also "suffered auditory hallucinations and had at least two prior mental health hospitalizations", according to court documents.
