Celtic secure Scottish Premiership title in style

Brendan Rodgers claimed that Celtic could finish in the Premier League's top four after winning the Scottish Premiership at a canter.

Midfielder Stuart Armstrong added a third with a drive and Patrick Roberts scored a wonderful fourth before Sinclair notched his third from the spot with seven minutes remaining.

Rodgers says he is already beginning to plan ahead for the the Scottish Cup semi-final with Rangers on April 23, claiming Celtic cannot afford to stand still if they want to build on their remarkable success this season. "But at this moment in time my only focus is for Celtic", Rodgers said.

"I said when I came that, when I move on from here, whether the club move me on or I decide to go, I want this club to be in a better place", Rodgers said.

"So yes, it is only the start for us. I'm a Rangers supporter but you are a breath of fresh air up here, '" Rodgers recalled. "I am one of them, I know what they think and what they want and I want to try to bring them as far to that as I possibly can".

"We played some great football in the Champions League but it is always going to be a hard group no matter who you get, you are dealing with top-quality players".

Three baby koalas stolen from carer's home in Brisbane
Whoever took the koala joeys has been urged to hand them into a veterinary surgery, the RSPCA or a local police station. Mr Beatty said animal cruelty charges carry a maximum penalty of three years' jail and a $220,000 fine.

He has money to spend this summer, Celtic are in a better financial position than perhaps any time in their history, and the trick for him to now is to repeat the success of last summer's transfer window when he got just about all his signings right. "It's a massive credit to the players". "I'm more pleased for others".

"I think one day I would go back, maybe even go overseas".

The travelling Celtic support didn't have to wait long to celebrate again as Armstrong made it 3-0 in the 55th minute.

"We take the energy and hunger from training into games and, from a coaching perspective, that's great to see". We have a huge game on Wednesday and another on Saturday, so we need to make sure we are rested up and ready for them.

Scotland striker Leigh Griffiths, who scored 40 goals last season, has been often been consigned to the bench although he missed Sunday's game through injury along with Dembele. "What's important for me to put across just now is that, after this game, I feel even better and stronger and more confident going into Wednesday's game than the reverse".
