The iPad Pro needs a refresh: Here's what to expect

Often overshadowed by the iPhone 8 rumors is an all-new iPad family that we're expecting to be announced at some point this year, likely sooner rather than later.

The important thing to note here is that while it's clear Apple has new iPads in the pipeline, it's not explicitly clear when we will see them. The successors of the iPad Air, iPad Mini and the iPad Pro are supposedly going to retain the 3.5 mm headphone jack that Apple took away from its current smartphones, so fans should keep their fingers crossed for that. The production for 12.9 inch iPad Pro is expected to begin in the month of May or June. Currently, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro with A9X chip has an entry price of $599, while the A8X-powered iPad Air 2, also 9.7 inches, and starts at $399. It would be water resistant and would also have TrueTone Screen like iPad Pro. The claim is based on Apple's history of alternating between an "X" version of their chip between the Apple iPhone and the iPad tablet that follows shortly after.

When it comes to the quality of photos, iPad Pro 2 will boast a12 MP iSight primary cameras front and rear with True Tone flash, quad speakers, and quad microphones. Much like the 10.5-inch model, these variants are said to adopt the A10X processor, which will allow for improved speed and graphics performance. DigiTimes claims only one million 10.5-inch iPad Pros will be made per month, which could make it a hot commodity for the foreseeable future.

He said: "Of course we have to defend better but I think in 12-15 minutes against Monaco we created five chances and few teams can do that".

According to a recent report, the new 9.7 inch iPad Pro could launch next week, the other two tablets are expected to be announced later on. There will likely be new OLED displays on Apple's 10th-anniversary iPhone. It's about time for the mini to get updated or to shuffle off this mortal coil; my money's on the first option, since there have been some rumors floated about a 7.9-inch iPad Pro.

Apple may also releasew iPad models, according to analytics firm Fiksu.

As for the model in question, speculation earlier had pegged the device to come with a new design theme characterized by almost absent bezels.
