"The Commonwealth Games are a wonderful sporting event and London would listen to any proposal to host in 2022". Meanwhile, other stakeholders like the South Africa government too didn't pay any heed to the multisport games.
"I think the Commonwealth Games will find it increasingly hard to stage the games", he told 3AW Breakfast. "But unless the Government chips in I'm not sure how it stacks up for us".

Durban presented a revised budget and hosting proposal to the Commonwealth Games Federation at a last-ditch meeting last weekend to save Africa's first worldwide multi-sport event.
"Commonwealth Games Australia has not been approached by the CGF regarding an alternate host city for 2022", it said in a statement.

They are the establishment of the Ad-Hoc Arbitration Panel to decide any legal disputes arising during the 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games and also the formation of a Broadcasting Commission to ensure the parties involved can share the take from the investment they have made as well as ensure better broadcasting.
