The French manager's contract expires at the end of the season but he has been offered a new two-year deal.

The Gunners' manager indicated that he will reveal his decision "very soon" but there is no announcement planned in the two-week worldwide break.

With almost 200 games under his belt and a reputation for attractive football, he moved to Dortmund in the summer of 2015 with the task of replacing Jurgen Klopp.

He led his side to a second-place finish in his first season in charge, behind Bayern Munich, and has taken the club to the quarter finals of the Champions League this campaign.

The club has reiterated a decision on Wenger's future will be "a mutual decision, which will be communicated in the right way at the right time".

Manchester United Manager, Jose Mourinho has again made a veiled remark about the way the English FA treats him in comparison to Arsene Wenger. "In that aspect I continue to be the same but I also understand with experience that I continue to be looked at with different eyes", Mourinho said in an interview with Portuguese TV channel SIC, published in a number of national newspapers.

Whatever, according to West Brom boss Tony Pulis they'll kick-off next season with Wenger still at the helm.

"I'll be surprised if he goes", he said.

"When pushed on why he felt that way, he added: "Because he told me".
